What can I have?
- Water, herbal teas (peppermint, chamomile, green tea)
- All fruits and vegetables! Steamed and slowly roasted are best.
- Lean, well sourced proteins. Chicken, fish and free-range eggs are great choices.
- We strongly encourage starting the day with a hot lemon water and to put lemon in your drinking water throughout the day.
What to remove…
- Breads, pasta, rice
- Cookies, biscuits, packaged snacks such as muesli bars and energy bars
- Chocolate, pastries, ice-cream
- Artificial sweeteners
- Soft drinks
- Yoghurts with hidden sugars such as flavored yoghurts, instead go for full fat, plain Greek yoghurt
- Raw sugar, white sugar
- Sauces and dressings (often containing hidden sugars)
